Applications:
Titanium oxide nanoparticles are widely used in the chemical industry. They are incorporated into cosmetics such as beauty and whitening creams, vanishing creams, skin-protection creams, moisture creams, powder make-up, and other cosmetic formulations.
They are also applied in coatings, including plastics coating, food packaging materials, and printing inks. Additional applications include photocatalysts, UV-resistant materials, antibacterial materials, sewage treatment, and self-cleaning glass and ceramics.
In metallurgical, paper, and astronautics industries, TiO₂ nanoparticles improve paper impressionability and opacity, and are used in producing titanium, ferrotitanium alloy, and carbide alloys.
