Application Areas
Aqueous suspensions of cellulose nanocrystals (CNC) and related products in dilute aqueous form have significant potential in many emerging application fields. This material can be used in coatings for paper manufacturing and UV shielding, cosmetics, flow modification, food-packaging film production, as a food additive, in medical drug-delivery systems and stabilizers, printed electronics, and most recently as photoelectric ink-jet material and in 3D printing.
