Properties, Storage and Cautions:
Titanium nanoparticles are highly reactive and flammable. They should be handled with care, avoiding rapid movements and vibrations. The powder must be kept away from sunlight, heat sources, moisture, and impacts. Coagulation is a serious issue, so the powder should be vacuum-sealed and stored in cool, dry conditions. Air contact should be avoided.
Applications:
Titanium exhibits excellent properties such as UV resistance, biocompatibility, corrosion resistance, and high mechanical strength. It is used in aerospace components, implants, electronic devices, nano-composites, optical materials, glass-modifying additives, and micro- and nanosensors.
