Applications
Aluminum nanoparticles are highly reactive and flammable, requiring careful handling. Rapid movement and vibrations should be avoided, and the powder must be protected from sunlight, heat, moisture, and impacts. Because particle coagulation is a concern, the nanopowder should be vacuum-sealed and stored in cool, dry conditions with minimal air exposure.
Aluminum nanopowder can be used in catalysis and biomedical research. It may also be incorporated into heat transfer fluids, composite materials, packaging materials, transparent conductive fluids, and wear-resistant components to improve their performance.
