Graphite Fluoride (Carbon Monofluoride)
Graphite Fluoride, also known as Carbon Monofluoride, has multiple applications, including use as a cathode material in lithium-ion batteries, imaging, rocket propellants, and incandescent lighting. This material is also suitable as a high-energy-density cathode in BR-type lithium batteries, a reduction additive for lubricants, a weather-resistant additive for paints, and as an oxidizing agent or combustion modifier in rocket propellants and pyrolants.
