Applications
Nickel foil can be used as a substrate to grow various nanomaterials. Using a solution immersion method, a superhydrophobic nanowire surface can be grown on nickel foil. Nickel foils are also used in battery mesh, printed circuit boards of electronic devices, heating elements, aerospace material development, and as security tags due to their magnetic properties.
