Graphite Fluoride (Carbon Monofluoride)
Graphite Fluoride, also known as Carbon Monofluoride, has multiple applications including lithium-ion batteries as a cathode material, imaging, rocket propellants, and incandescent lighting. This material is also suitable as a high energy density cathode material in lithium batteries of the “BR” type, a reduction additive for lubricants, a weather-resistant additive for paints, and as an oxidizing agent and combustion modifier in rocket propellants and pyrolants.
