Shape Memory Polymer NGM3520
Ether Type
Shape-memory polymers (SMPs), an emerging class of “smart materials” with dual-shape capability, are stimuli-responsive materials capable of returning from a programmed shape to their original shape upon exposure to an appropriate stimulus. Various types of stimuli-responsive SMPs, including thermal, light, pH, and moisture-responsive variants, have been applied in textiles to enhance or achieve smart functionalities. SMPs have also been extensively studied in the biomedical and aerospace industries.
Technical Properties:
| Item | Unit | G | R |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hardness | HDD | 77 | 30 |
| 100% Modulus | MPa | 2.3 | |
| Tensile Strength | MPa | 51 | 10 |
