Applications
Aluminum oxide nanoparticles exhibit high hardness and strong dimensional stability. They are used to enhance toughness, wear resistance, thermal fatigue resistance, and ceramic density in rubber, plastics, and ceramics. They are applied in high-strength aluminum oxide ceramics, high-purity crucibles, furnace tubes, and cutting tools. These nanoparticles are also added to metal products, semiconductors, tapes, polishing materials, and glass products. With excellent far-infrared emission properties, they are used in fiber fabrics and high-pressure sodium lamps as far-infrared emission and thermal insulation materials. In addition, they are utilized in catalysis as catalysts or catalyst carriers.
