Copper Nickel Alloy Nanopowder, Cu55Ni45

APS: 50 nm, Purity: 99.9%

Nano copper–nickel alloy powder is produced by a gas-phase CVD method. The alloy ratio can be adjusted as required, and the material exhibits high purity, small particle size, uniform distribution, large surface area, and excellent dispersibility. It supports large-scale industrial production and provides good mechanical properties at room and elevated temperatures. The alloy offers high corrosion resistance, good wear resistance, easy processability, and non-magnetic behavior. It is a suitable structural material for manufacturing traveling wave tubes and other electron tubes, and can also serve as a structural material for aero engines.

Applications

Nano copper–nickel alloy powder can be processed into copper–nickel alloy materials. Pure copper and nickel together significantly enhance strength, corrosion resistance, hardness, electrical resistance, and thermoelectric performance, while reducing the temperature coefficient of resistivity.

Cupronickel, known for its excellent corrosion resistance and good formability, processability, and weldability, is widely used in shipbuilding, petroleum, chemical engineering, construction, electric power, instrumentation, medical equipment, and musical instrument manufacturing. The reduced powder addition (by 3–5 times), short repair time, low friction coefficient, and long-term stability further support its usage.

It is also used as a raw material for bulk metal nanocomposite materials, where inert-gas-protected powder metallurgy sintering is applied to prepare bulk copper–nickel nanocomposites.

Packaging and Storage

This product is packaged in an inert-gas-filled glass bottle and should be stored sealed in a dry, cool environment. Exposure to air must be avoided to prevent oxidation and moisture-related agglomeration, which can affect dispersion and performance. Packaging quantities can be customized according to customer requirements.
