Silicon Hexaboride (SiB6) Nanopowder
APS: 40 nm, Purity: 99%
Performance Characteristics
Nano silicon hexaboride powder is prepared by high-frequency plasma gas-phase synthesis. It is a gray-black powder with a relative density of 3.0 g/cm3 and a melting point of 2200°C. It is insoluble in water and resistant to oxidation, thermal shock, and chemical attack. It exhibits high strength and stability, especially under thermal shock, and its grinding efficiency is higher than that of boron carbide.
