Storage Condition:
Boron nitride nanoparticles should be sealed under vacuum and stored in a cool, dry environment. They should not be exposed to air and must be protected from stress.
Applications:
Boron nitride nanoparticles are a super-hard material with diverse industrial uses. They are applied in subsurface investigation, oil drilling, and high-speed cutting tools. BN is also used as a metal forming and drawing lubricant release agent. It can be pressed into various shapes for high-voltage, high-temperature insulation and cooling components.
Additional applications include transistors, plasma arc insulators, high-voltage and high-frequency electrical systems, semiconducting solid-phase admixtures, high-frequency induction furnace materials, atomic reactor structural components, neutron-radiation-shielding packing materials, automatic welding high-temperature coatings, radar antenna media, radar pass boxes, and rocket engine components.
Boron nitride nanoparticles are also used as catalysts for high-temperature and high-pressure processes, as ceramic composite materials, thermally conductive fillers for polymers, and high-temperature lubricants. They have notable applications in the aerospace sector, including heat-shielding materials.
